Shay is eager to explore a new region of the state and immerse herself in anew community. She looks forward to contributing to Williamston’s Downtown Development initiatives and gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by small-town administrations. Shay is proficient in Spanish, which allows her the opportunity to communicate and create connections in multiple languages. She also values her solo study abroad journey to Spain, which taught her to take chances, face challenges head-on, and develop independence. She hopes to join and immerse herself in the Williamston community.
