Jake has lived all over North Carolina but mainly grew up and graduated from high school in Pamlico County. He has always been interested in politics and the role of government. Jake hopes to increase awareness of the pivotal role local government plays in the lives of every American. He believes that combining contemporary knowledge with the traditional wisdom of our communities is the path to a stronger, healthier union. He plans to use the opportunities and experience Lead for North Carolina provides to foster a stronger connection between community members and their local governments.
