Jake has lived all over North Carolina but mainly grew up and graduatedfrom high school in Pamlico County. He has always been interested inpolitics and the role of government. Jake hopes to increase awareness ofthe pivotal role local government plays in the lives of every American. Hebelieves that combining contemporary knowledge with the traditionalwisdom of our communities is the path to a stronger, healthier union. Heplans to use the opportunities and experience Lead for North Carolina provides to foster a stronger connection between community members and their local governments.
