During Emma’s undergraduate career, she spearheaded legislation to bring Narcan to her campus as a Senator for Student Government. She also served as content editor for the Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Research Journal and was a Phoenix Policy Think Tank member. Before joining Lead for North Carolina, Emma interned with the Office of Child Health Equity at Stanford Children’s Hospital. Emma aims to make a difference in public health through local government work. Her people-centric approach shapes her career aspirations at the intersection of public health and policy. Upon completing the program, she plans to use her skills to pursue further education to advance child health equity within communities.
