At North Carolina State University, Anu was a Caldwell Fellow and a correspondent for the schoolnewspaper, The Technician. She gained valuable experience throughinternships at the General Assembly, the Governor’s Office, and the City ofRaleigh. Public service has long been Anu’s aspiration, fostered andsolidified through her internships and undergraduate experiences. She viewslocal and state government as pillars of service-oriented leadership,embodying the ethos of servant-leadership she values deeply. Anu sees theLFNC program as an opportunity to delve into the inner workings oflocal government and collaborate with a cohort of dedicated individualsunited in their commitment to community service.
