During Alex’s Public Policy capstone, he worked with Blueprint NC to build support for resilience hubs in Eastern North Carolina to better protect vulnerable populations from natural disasters. Alex intends to pursue a career in environmental law, a path he chose to help vulnerable communities address and recover from environmental injustices. Lead for North Carolina appealed to him because it offers the opportunity to become familiar with the daily operations of local communities and provides professional development invaluable for graduate school and his future career.
