Sailin Barrientos Patricio is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for the City of High Point. Sailin graduated summa cum laude from UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, with a concentration in Peace, Conflict, and Identity and minors in Spanish and Legal Studies. She completed the Political Science Honors Program and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Beta Delta honor societies. During her time at UNC Charlotte, Sailin served as a Student Marshal and participated in several leadership and advocacy initiatives. She has experience in legal research, immigration advocacy, and community engagement through her internships with Howard Immigration Law and Michaca Law Firm, as well as her work with the Carolina Migrant Network and the Monarca Fellowship.
