While at North Carolina State University, Reed served as an elected Senator for the StudentGovernment Association and worked as a university ambassador, guiding tours for prospective students and families. He was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society in his final semester. Reed has worked on various local, state, and national political campaigns, primarily in his hometown of Lewisville, NC. After completing this program, he plans to attend law school and work in public law. Reed believes the Lead for North Carolina program is a starting point for making positive changes in his community and striving for a better tomorrow for North Carolina.
