During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Paloma was a Covenant Scholar, Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholar, and a Golden Leaf Scholar. Her experience working at the Children’s Center of Northwest North Carolina in her hometown has prepared her for her public service role as a Fellow for the Foothills Regional Council of Government. Paloma has always been passionate about public service and serving her community. LFNC provides her with the opportunity to begin her career in local government and explore various areas of interest. This year, she hopes to contribute to projects that uplift the community she will soon be a part of. After her time with LFNC, Paloma plans to pursue either graduate school or a career in public service.
