Paige Shepard served her fellowship in the City of Burlington. She created the City’s parks and recreation policies and procedures manual, working closely with departmental representatives to gather information on work and processes. Shepard also worked with the city manager and clerk to streamline work flows and processes. Her additional responsibilities included assisting with city council meetings and producing materials for council members.

Shepard graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and peace, war, and defense with a focus in intelligence. Her previous experiences included internships with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department and the Onslow County Senior Center.
