Olivia Leggett served her fellowship in Rockingham County. She played a crucial role in the County’s budget process and implemented various initiatives outlined by the Employee Morale Committee to boost employee satisfaction and retention in a small and rural jurisdiction. Leggett’s creation of a salary forecasting document improved budgeting efficiency, while her work with the committee, including organizing events like the winter walk and conducting benchmark analyses, helped foster a strong organizational culture.

Leggett graduated cum laude from Elon University with bachelor’s degree in economics and minors in policy studies and German studies.
