Nick Cunningham served his fellowship in the City of Morehead City. He collaborated with Carteret County government to obtain GIS licenses for the public services department. Cunningham led a project to reorganize the municipality’s perpetual care cemeteries, resulting in the creation of GIS maps for both Town and public use. Through an inter-local government agreement, he secured an affordable GIS solution, paving the way for potential expansion of GIS services within public works departments in the future.

Cunningham Nicholas graduated magna cum laude from Western Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in emergency and disaster management.
