Metra Sheshbaradaran served her fellowship in the City of Goldsboro. She created a Request For Proposals (RFP) for downtown residential development. Sheshbaradaran carried out a variety of projects including a website redesign and planning community events to promote economic development. She also created an assets map of downtown businesses and properties, providing an up-to-date database of downtown property information.

Sheshbaradaran graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in public policy and economics. During her time at UNC, she served as president of her national co-ed service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. She also participated in Undergraduate Student Government and served as an admissions ambassador. Through these roles, she assisted and led projects aimed serving her campus and local community.
