Margaret Kern is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for the Town of Topsail Beach. Margaret graduated with a BA in Public Policy and History with a concentration in Politics, Law, and Economics, and a minor in Environmental Science. At Carolina, she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, Buckley Public Service Scholar, member of Honors Carolina, and the President of the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity. She has previous experience working with local government leaders as an intern for the Maryland Philanthropy Network in Baltimore, Maryland.
