Biography

Leslie Morales-Noyola served her fellowship in the City of Wilson. She made notable contributions to the community by producing a comprehensive report on enhancing Latinx engagement within the city. She organized a successful expo that connected Wilson teenagers with job and volunteer opportunities offered by local employers. Morales-Noyola also played a pivotal role in coordinating a job shadow program.

Before LFNC

Morales-Noyola graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University. During her time at Wake Forest, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Sigma Delta Pi honor societies. She also served as co-president for the Organization of Latin American Students and was a research assistant for a project involving Spanish linguistics in the Piedmont Triad. Her previous work experience in government included an internship at the U.S. Department of Education in thee Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs. Morales-Noyola also worked with immigrant community members at an immigration law firm in Winston-Salem.
