LaShonda Sousa is serving her fellowship with the UNC School of Government. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in political science and religious studies and minors in history and English. While at UNCG, Sousa served in Student Government as chief of staff and historian, working to increase transparency and data management within the organization. She holds previous experience working in state and federal government as an intern at the North Carolina General Assembly and in the U.S. House of Representatives.
