Jason Smart is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for the Town of Liberty. Jason graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University with a BA in Management, Leadership, and Policy, with minors in Spanish and Communication. While a student, Jason was an active member of the campus community, holding leadership positions in the Civic Leadership Council and the Random Acts of Kindness Club. Moreover, Jason received numerous honors for his involvement, including the John Glenn Alumni Scholarship and the Kathryn M. and Dan E. Moore Study Abroad Award. He has previous experience as a development intern with the Ohio Rail Development Commission, working with various local government stakeholders to advance rail projects for the state of Ohio.
