While at Wake Forest University, Hannah received honors for her academicachievements, including the Jack D. Fleer Award for Excellence in Honors inPolitical Science and the Harold Dawes Parcell Award for Excellence inFrench. She has previous experience working at various legal nonprofits inCharlotte, including Legal Aid of North Carolina and International House.Hannah has always known she wanted to pursue a career in public service.Her time working with public interest lawyers was dedicated to helping lower–income communities solidified this commitment. She is thrilled to work withinher home community on plans to revitalize Bessemer City. Hannah isconfident that this experience will prepare her to attend law school, practice public interest law, or continue working in local government.
