Hannah Dove is working with the city of Bessemer City on various projects. Her work includes helping the town meet NC Main Street membership requirements, conducting research on economic development opportunities, and reviewing and updating the traffic code to support effective governance and community growth.

While at Wake Forest University, Hannah received honors for her academic achievements, including the Jack D. Fleer Award for Excellence in Honors inPolitical Science and the Harold Dawes Parcell Award for Excellence inFrench. She has previous experience working at various legal nonprofits in Charlotte, including Legal Aid of North Carolina and International House. Hannah has always known she wanted to pursue a career in public service.Her time working with public interest lawyers was dedicated to helping lower–income communities solidified this commitment. She is thrilled to work within her home community on plans to revitalize Bessemer City. Hannah is confident that this experience will prepare her to attend law school, practice public interest law, or continue working in local government.
