Elijah gained valuable experience in local government through an internship with the Town of Chapel Hill’s Public Housing Department. Elijah’s internship experience underscored the critical role of federal funding in supporting local government initiatives, particularly during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. He is passionate about ensuring local governments have the resources they need to effectively serve their communities.
