Elena Williamson is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for Hyde County. She graduated from NC State University’s Honors Program with dual BAs in Political Science and World Languages and Cultures. At NC State, she completed the Leadership Development Program, served as a Pack the Polls Ambassador, studied abroad, and held multiple internships and fellowships in the nonpartisan space. Elena is passionate about service-driven leadership and believes local government plays a critical role in addressing real community needs. She’s especially excited to work in a rural county, gaining hands-on experience across departments and contributing to empathetic, people-first solutions in areas like economic development and housing.
