Cameron Birtcher served his fellowship year in Washington County. He implemented a comprehensive training curriculum for online technology to improve capacity and knowledge for County department heads. Birtcher specifically supported the Soil and Water Conservation team. Cameron completed a successful grant application for the County through Golden LEAF, providing $50,000 for a new economic development site.

Birtcher graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in German studies. He was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma and Delta Phi Alpha honor societies. He held leadership roles as the treasurer for College Democrats and Elon Motorsports and completed a legal internship with Khazaeli Wyrsch LLC in Saint Louis.
