Abby Kimmel is serving her fellowship with the City of Greenville and Pitt County. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in environmental science and minors in GIS and urban studies and planning. During her time at UNC, Kimmel made a significant impact on her campus community by spearheading an educational outreach campaign on recycling and composting in the dining halls. She also gained valuable experience in local government as a stormwater education intern for the Town of Chapel Hill.
