Keshav Javvadi served his fellowship in Person County. He developed a strategic communications plan and devised a digital inclusion plan to enhance broadband access and affordability. Javvadi also organized a community fair to promote human and social service resources and played a key role in revising the county’s emergency operations plan. Javvadi graduated with honors from UNC-Chapel Hill. At Carolina, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society, danced for two dance teams, and was involved in student government. He served as the ethics chair in the Undergraduate Senate, speaker of the senate, and Joint Governance Council chair. He had previous experience working on state and local government issues as an intern for the UNC School of Government’s ncIMPACT Initiative.
