Neal Duncan served his fellowship in the Town of Troy. His service focused primarily on improving the town’s parks. Duncan also led the creation of a new community garden, a new skatepark, and a new dog park, increasing community participation in outdoor activities. Duncan also secured funds for the installation of 14 new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the town’s public parks.

Neal attended UNC-Charlotte, where he graduated with bachelor’s degrees in political science and business administration. He graduated with honors in political science and was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha honor society. While at UNC-Charlotte, he served three years as the treasurer of the 49er Running Club.
