Erin Anderson served her fellowship in Rockingham County. Her work focused on increasing employee morale for county staff after the COVID-19 pandemic. She was responsible for creating, analyzing, and distributing a monthly employee survey to help senior management retain a strong workforce. Anderson also spearheaded the employee morale committee and planned morale activities for staff. Additionally, she was responsible for creating the FY20/21 Performance Measure Report and organized performance data to determine department appropriations.

Anderson graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and minors in art history and sociology. She was heavily involved with community engagement work as a member and leader of the co-ed service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. Anderson also held internships with nonprofits in both Winston-Salem and in London, UK.
