Eli Norman is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for the Town of Forest City. He graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University with a BA in Political Science. Driven by a passion for politics and a belief in the power of government to improve lives, Eli has previously interned with the Whole Community Health Initiative through the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and on a gubernatorial campaign. Through Lead for NC, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in local government—particularly in public finance—and deepen his understanding of how government systems function. After the fellowship, Eli plans to continue working in public service and is considering graduate school to further his impact.
