Malaika Shroff is the Lead for North Carolina Fellow for the City of Kinston. Malaika graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Mathematics and Statistics. While at UNC, Malaika took part in research in mathematical analysis, exploring the behavior of degenerate Hamiltonians around a critical point. She was also a Buckley Public Service Scholar and a Phi Beta Kappa member, who spent most of her time on the board of APPLES, the student-led branch of the Carolina Center for Public Service, where she helped facilitate service learning activities for Carolina students.
