During her time at UNC Greensboro, Mykalia held numerous leadership roles, including President of The Legal Professions Association, and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Political Science Honor Society. Mykalia’s vision for her community is centered on expanding resources, enhancing accessibility, and fostering informed decision-making. She aims to prioritize transparency to propel the community forward, ensuring growth that includes reaching new individuals while meeting the needs of current constituents. Mykalia hopes the Town of Sims will reflect on its progress, recognize the perseverance, and continue to strive for on going improvement and excellence.
