During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Paloma was a Covenant Scholar, Aubrey Lee BrooksScholar, and a Golden Leaf Scholar. Her experience working at theChildrenÕs Center of Northwest North Carolina in her hometown hasprepared her for her public service role as a Fellow for the FoothillsRegional Council of Government. Paloma has always been passionate aboutpublic service and serving her community. LFNC provides her with theopportunity to begin her career in local government and explore variousareas of interest. This year, she hopes to contribute to projects that upliftthe community she will soon be a part of. After her time with LFNC, Palomaplans to pursue either graduate school or a career in public service.
