While attending North Carolina Central University, Rhasha served as president of the Political Science Club, a student assistant for the Project Sign research team, and a teaching fellow for the university. She is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. A core piece of Rhasha’s identity is the quote, “Few things in this world are inherent to the human condition.” This reminder helps her stay open to possibilities and creatively solve everyday problems. By remembering this quote, she strives to knock down internalized barriers and remain a lifelong learner and creative problem-solver.
